  7. Place the dough into the preheated Dutch oven and cover it with the lid.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
